Awake {GiveAway}

I'm turning 30 in two weeks.

That's why it is the perfect time for me to bring to you, quasi Oprah style {without the loads of cash or class I'm afraid} some of my current favorite things made by my favorite people that maybe you would like too.

Starting with a book giveaway.  Because after all, books are my most favorite things ever.

And Noel Brewer Yeatts book, Awake is no exception.

I became aware of Noel through her work as the VP of World Help and am so happy to partner with them to tell the stories that they are writing and living all over the world.

When I found out that this woman that so impressed me with her passion and sweet spirit had written a book, I knew I needed to read it.
I needed to know the world as she knew it-  as a person whose eyes are open to the needs of the world, but not only that, whose hands are extended to make those needs met.

Please watch this short video of Noel explain exactly what her intention and reason for writing this book is. She can say it so beautifully on her own. No need for me to weigh it down with more words.

And now, I get to tell you two ways that you can get this book to experience Noel's real life accounts of the beautiful people she has met along the way, and the statistics that really opened my eyes to the needs around the world in terms that I could understand, but cannot accept as part of my children's world:

Did you know that 5,000 children are dying from diarrhea each day brought about through dirty water?  And do you know the cost of providing clean water? $15.00.  The need verses the cost is heartbreakingly simple.

I am so excited to be offering a free SIGNED copy of Noel's book AWAKE.

 All you need to do is leave a comment that you would like to be put into the drawing for a copy of the book, and I will notify the winner.

And if you just can't wait, or don't want to rely on the odds of being picked by random draw, an electronic version of Awake is available for a short time for $2.99 HERE.

Consider becoming Awake through compelling personal narrative that focuses on one life at a time, instead on the overwhelming odds of saving each one.

We won't be able to save each child, each life that needs saving, but we can save just one, and all of those "ones"... well, they add up into something amazing.

    How else is life? I turn 40 this spring, and that feels odd. 30 was fun. :) How is your writing going?
